NDYLTK Rail has today confirmed the appointment of Tom Furmaniak as incoming Managing Director for the firm. Tom replaces Dominic DiBrito who has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice-President International operations.
Dominic has led the NDYLTK Australia operation since the creation of the partnership between Norman Disney & Young and LTK Engineering Services in 2011. In just four years of operation, the firm has established a solid presence along the east coast of Australia completing key projects in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
“These appointments reinforce the group strategy and allow Dominic to focus on growing our international market whilst utilising our extensive professional resources in North America,” says Ian Hopkins, Chairman of the NDYLTK Rail Board of Directors.
“Tom’s extensive background in light rail and modern streetcar systems will be of particular value to our clients during the light rail and tram renaissance now unfolding across Australia,” adds Hopkins.
Tom is the former vice-president of business development for NDYLTK’s US parent company LTK Engineering Services. He has also served as the Vice-President of LTK’s Southeast and Northwest regions and held senior management positions at two major transport agencies. Tom is Chair of the American Public Transportation Association’s Light Rail Technical Forum and a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Light Rail Transit Committee.
